Ranveer Singh impresses by shedding his trademark flamboyance for a brooding, internalized performance. Sanjay Dutt brings gravitas and authority, fitting seamlessly into the film’s hardened world. Arjun Rampal, though effective, is underutilized in this first chapter—something that will hopefully be addressed in the sequel.
